Pulsar Stargrave by Dean Beattie

This commission is a reward for Dean Beattie's Random Trials Kickstarter which I contributed to. I am a big fan of Dean's art and have wanted another commission from him ever since he drew the Subs for me. This time I had Dean draw me the very mysterious, very powerful, and most of all very fabulous-looking Pulsar Stargrave! Pulsar was a Legion villain who first appeared in the 70's, had multiple origins, and was up there with Mordru and the Time Trapper in terms of power levels. Unfortunately, he disappeared soon afterwards and was not seen again until he took on the Subs in the Legion of Substitute Heroes Special. I miss Pulsar and though I loved seeing him briefly in Convergence, I want him back for a good fight with the Legion again. Anyway, Dean rocked this commission, producing a funky-looking Pulsar with some gorgeous colors! I love how Dean drew his clothes and his eyebrows, and couldn't be happier with this piece.
