Gil Kane and P. Criaig Russell doing the Jungle Book? I guess I completely missed that when it was published. Looks like it was a gorgeous project, judging by the page you picked up. I love the look of Shara Khan, the tiger. That top panel is gorgeous. My only reference for the Jungle Book was the Disney movie made in the '60s, but that was a light-hearted musical adventure. This looks like something different--More like a fable told comic book style Very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
