DescriptionWEB OF SPIDER-MAN #50 3D shadowbox paper sculpture for Reggie Frnacia 2015Original art by Alex Saviuk & Frank Giacoia Published by Marvel Comics 1989 This 3D shadowbox paper sculpture of the WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #50 cover was made for client Reggie Francia in CA. It was finished in July 2015. Original art was by Alex Saviuk and Frank Giacoia 1989. This is the first of 2 he order. The second one will be FURY OF FIRESTORM #45. Upon receipt, Reggie wrote this: "In my excitement I didn't even take it out of the box yet to take a picture. I LOVE IT!!!! It's as if I could touch Spidey! First time to see one in person and it just indescribable the excitement I felt when I saw it. Excellent work, Todd!" Reggie requested holding of posting any photos until he has received the 3D which he now has. This was a bit more complex than expected given the many overlapping levels inside and outside of the circle and in front of the logo. It measures almost 4 inches deep and took about 25 hours. As Reggie will attest, my 3D work is best seen with your own eyes. In Sept 2017, Reggie met up with Alex at the Silicone Valley Comic Con and showed it to him, then had him sign the back old the 3D! TR met Alex for the first time at the Great American Comic Con in Las Vegas in Nov 3019 showing him other 3Ds that were on display.
