YES! YES!! YES!!! This page is f@#$%n' awesome. I honestly don't know how I have never seen your amazing gallery before. This is the best page in this fabulous story. One of those 20 or so interior pages that I will always remember.

I can't believe I'm the 4th comment on this one. I'm curious as to whether you won this in an eBay auction? I remember a few of these being auctioned off via eBay in the time frame you posted this - if so, I'm pretty sure I was your underbidder. The lines of the published image were delicate, haunting and beautiful...I can only imagine what the actual art looks like.

The art is quite moving, but, more than that, this page is a wonderful example of how Neil Gaimen could/can take the familiar denouements of a fantasy or horror story and turn them in unexpected directions, making them feel new and fresh and, yes, memorable.
