Description

Very happy to add this great piece to my collection. On his blog Kevin says that he thinks it was drawn "around 1987 or '88"--which feels about right, to me it looks like the bulked-up, slightly-distorted anatomical style he uses here lines up with his Wolverine covers and other work around that time. Like all of Kevin's work that I've seen up close, this piece looks amazing in person--the precision and detail of his inks are really a wonder, and obviously he had a lot of fun going crazy with those telephone wires. Thanks to Jim Warden for a very easy deal!

Brilliant and a little bit out of the usual schemes commission by a magic Nowlan. Hardly seen a such a towering Punisher. Gunny pick!
