Description

Original hand-drawn (penciled and inked) art for the November 25, 1974 daily strip of The Better Half, by the great Ruth Barnes. The piece is in very good condition, and still has the 1974 The Register and Tribune Synidcate copyright piece attached near the bottom. The piece measures approximately 11" by 8 1/4". The text at the bottom "There's only one thing that gets me out of bed on Monday morning, and it's just knowing that I got to sleep longer than the milkman and the paper boy." is a pasted on printed piece. It is not firmly attached near the right side, and you can lift it up and see hand-written lettering underneath.
