Description

Final issue cover of my favorite DC character Azrael! The original cover colors didn't make sense to me back then because of the ripped uniform. The note on the left side of the art states that his knees and arms with ripped uniform should be colored flesh. I'm not sure if the editor or colorist disregarded that note.

Incredible bookend cover !! The title was a favorite of mine and this cover one of the best of the run !

Great cover image! Admittedly a bit confusing with the way the costume is ripped and hanging over the exposed skin, but still an incredible visual and a memorable cover.

Bittersweet! Two great titans of the industry - Mike Zeck and Jerry Ordway working on this beautiful cover on the one hand; and the signal of the end of a 100-issue run by this character - all 100 issues I bought when they came out. Happy to see this, but sad to revisit it!
