This is the Original Cover Art for SUPERMAN #182 (July 2002) by Ed McGuinness (pencils) and Cam Smith (inks).

This cover is dedicated to John Buscema (1927 - 2002) and was inspired by his classic Sub-Mariner #8 cover (see additional images) but isn't an exact homage (the figures are in completely different positions). NOTE: The additional images features a very cool Foreign Variant.

WOW!! EPIC battle cover featuring two of DC's great powerhouses. I would not want to be on the receiving end of EITHER of those fists! Love the inking on this one, congrats Fred!
