Passover, the Angel of Death, was introduced in the Avengelyne series from Maximum Press and then received his own one-shot. This is Stephen Platt's cover for that issue from 1996. It's an extraordinary piece with all of the detail and powerful rendering one expects from Platt.

Stephen Platt took comics by storm in the 1990s with his hyper-finished work on Marvel's Moon Knight. He would then move on to Image, working on such titles as Prophet and his own creation, Soul Saga. He was extraordinarily talented and famously meticulous, but despite his talent he did not produce much. "Splatt" art remains rare on the open market.

The art has an approximate image area of 10" X 15".
