Creaturebox-Greg Baldwin-Captain Crabby

A few months back, Creaturebox had a very limited sale of Deluxe Editions of their latest artbook 'Shred Volume 2,' which came with a 6" x 4" original sketch. What you got was random, but everything these guys do is awesome, so I was allright going in getting one 'blind' so to speak.

A few days before they put the deluxe editions up for sale, they announced it on their instagram, so I dutifully planned on picking up three copies.

Funny (or not at the time!), as luck would have it, five minutes before the sale went live, I was called in to the kitchen at work for a birthday cake for my boss. Arrghh! ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME!?? We ate our cake, I brought my Iphone in with me and launched the site...I put my order in for the three copies but I couldn't remember my Paypal password...! Nooo! I excused myself from the room, hurriedly made my way to desk and was able to make the purchase by entering in my credit card info. Whooo! Success. The art gods were with me.

I love that they usually put a little line of story for their characters, which gives you a little background and enough information to create the rest in your head.

6"x4" on Desert Storm toned paper. Copic markers and inks, plus white Primsacolor..and whatever else I guess they have handy!
