Description

It's obvious why Chris gets asked to do so many variant covers by Marvel. His work is so good and he pours so much time into these pieces. The detail on this can't be fully appreciated unless seen in person. Chris told me he put about 30 hours into this one and I would have believed even more. This is my 5th piece from Chris and, unbelievably, each piece surpasses the previous and it is great to have my first published piece - and a cover none the less. This cover was done 11 by 17 on vellum bristol board in copic markers and watercolor mix. As always, my monumental thanks to Chris for working with me on this piece as our transactions are always the best in the hobby (and bonus thanks for holding off the circling shark named Conny on this piece). I could go on and on about this but I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Also pictured is the published cover and the pencil prelim that was graciously included in the package when it arrived.
