DescriptionIncredible Hulk (1962-1999) #367 page 16 *1st Dale Keown Hulk*A rapidly withering and dying Hulk fakes his death in order to gain access to the Leader's computer banks to find out more about Mad Man with the aid of Banner. However the Leader and Riot Squad return spurring a short confrontation until Leader begins opening up about the Hulk's poisoner, Phil Stern's his own brother. He then informs Hulk of Betty's location in exchange for his killing of Mad Man, which Hulk readily accepts before being transported to Phil's home and discovering a secret passage way underneath the floor. He's then confronted by Mad Man with Mad Man who flies into a furious rage after the Hulk politely asks for the antidote and receiving a savage beating in return. However before the final blow is struck Mad Man reverts back to Phil and manages to inform Hulk of the poison, which Hulk uses on Mad Man to force him into getting the antidote. He then manages to inject himself with the antidote as he returns to being Banner, while the dying Mad Man begs Banner to save him. However Bruce simply leaves the antidote out of Mad Man's reaching knowing he is to poisoned to ever reach it in time. Social/Sharing |
