DescriptionThe final Cover on his classic Doom Patrol cover run (issues 26-58) and what a dramatic way to bow out!Fantastic mixed media piece where the main image is pasted onto a poster of a classic Judge Dredd poster/cover that was published in the Judge Dredd Megazine earlier that year! This is as good as it gets... The painted illustration is on DC Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15" mounted on art card and a varnished Judge Dredd poster. Cheers to G.C... What a catch! One of the best if not thee best Doom Patrol cover! I know how you always wanted this one. A milestone for a member of the Biz tribe!

A modern masterwork! I just can't get over how a great BIZ just punches you in the gut, even after 20 some years it's still as powerful as ever. Thanks for posting some the details about this piece, I'm really fascinated by Bisley's working methods. He seemed to take advantage of the possibilities acrylics offer over other media.
