Description

My Secret Santa for 2016 delivered this clever piece by Dave Aikins that actually combines two of my themes. The most obvious is Arm Wrestling with Heroes. In this case, we get the Rankin-Bass Santa and friends and the Peter David Supergirl. The other theme overlap is artists and the characters that are associated with them. In this case, Dave used to work on merchandising art for the Rankin/Bass characters. He concentrated on Rudolph and Frosty.

I think Santa is doing a really good job holding his own against the young Kryptonian, but she's tricky. She has Rudolph by the throat. Is it a threat? What will Santa do? I'm not sure. I need a One Minute Later!
