Description

This is a preliminary sketch for Alice Provensens' book "The Buck Stops Here(1990)." I was able to buy this off a lovely woman who was selling the whole book in this form on ebay. I didn't want the whole book so just opted for honest Abe. It's a beautiful sketch that I feel has more life than the final version in the printed book. I love the hand lettering as well.
