Which piece in your gallery is your favorite and why?
I don't think I have a favorite piece, but I'll choose this DPS by Bruce Timm and Glen Murakami. It's from one of my favorite comics and this image blends Kirby and Timm together so perfectly. I was also able to acquire this piece through another collector and I always appreciate the friendships I've gained via this hobby.
Please tell us a little about yourself.
I work in animation and love art of all kinds. CAF has been a wonderful point of inspiration.
How long have you been collecting comic art and what prompted you to start?
I've been collecting comic and animation art since the mid-90's. As soon as I had a job that allowed it, I started collecting art from people I admire or worked with. I had a few sketches from cons I went to in the 80's but nothing I still have.
How do you display/store your collection at home?
I have some art framed, but mostly I like to have things in portfolios. I flip through them regularly and love seeing the art up close.
What are your top five most wanted original pages or commissions?
Bruce Timm (more art from his comic work), Darwyn Cooke (so many wants!), Tim Sale (Long Halloween or Dark Victory), Mike Mignola (published page) and Javier Pulido or Marcos Martin art. I cheated by having six, but really the list goes on and on. =)
