Description

As a huge fan of Bill Everett, and someone who has tried his hoof at rendering pencil portraits of attractive young women (from life) myself, this drawing hits all the right notes for me. Everett's pen and ink technique slays me, but the combination of sfumato and delicate hatching in this graphite illustration is also really exquisite.

Comparing sequential art to a portrait sketch is a true treat. Everett shows the ability to do both. This is great example of his artistic skills.
