Description
A couple years pre SDCC, there was some limited toy edition of Batman Hush that was being released. The cool thing was if you bought the Hush toy, you got an original sketch. My comic friends asked me to hit up Jim for the Hush toy with sketch. Since Jim is a friend, I thought okay...let me ask. Unfortunately, Jim couldn't sell/give me any of the toys because they were all spoken for. My friends and I really just wanted the art. So I asked Jim to draw 6 of these Jokers drawings for me. This is the one I got.

Fast forward to 2015...another comic friend says hey...you didn't get me a Joker drawing. I said sorry....I only had 6. So I asked Jim to do a drawing of Death for his birthday. My wife sees it and says to me..."Death looks so cute! May I have this?". I obviously didn't say no to my wife. So my friend was out of luck. ha ha

Jim is the best!!!!

These are fantastic! I spent SDCC 2015 running around trying to buy one of the rare Batman toys with these sketches but to no avail. Anyone that had one there was $1k or more asking price, so I had to buy the version with the Batman sketch print instead. But Jim really did these better than the toy sketches. And if the wife likes a piece, you always have to give it to her. Huge congrats, buddy! That's an awesome friendship to have!

The art on Joker and death are of course high quality.Jim lee is a massive talent.I think it's great he did this for you and your friends.the story is as compelling as the art.
