DescriptionThis is a great one! One I'm really excited to get simply because of how funny I found it to be! The original is written in Finnish, but the translation is "The Fall of The Berlin Wall According to David Hasselhoff", and stars KITT from Knight Rider.This was drawn by my friend Jyrki Vainio in 2014. He showed it to me. I loved it. I begged for it. "No, first I have to try to give it to David Hasselhoff!" he tells me. And he tries. Luckily it failed horribly! The Hoff only deals in cheeseburgers, pal! So after another year of begging and needling, he finally felt guilty when I turned 40 so he sent it to me!! Woohoo! Super excited. I've seen a lot of Jyrki's work over the years, and I'm thrilled that he's been foolish enough to give me some of the best things he's done! This one is especially interesting because it has serious backgrounds going on that really make it seem like there's another city over the wall. The personality of his work is clear too, with all the big nosed guys looking on and even that super cute car. Social/Sharing |
