Description

Painter and illustrator, Carlo Jacono (1929-2000) was one of the best and most famous Italian cover artists of the last century.
With his unique and unmistakable style, he painted thousands of striking images for any genre of books, magazines and novels, including of course many comic books.
This beautiful painting was used as an illustration for a short story titled "A Quiet Evening", published in an Italian women's magazine back in the '70s.

..I've always wondered where was the Go Nagai robot on the covers of "Goldrake" beautifully illustrated by Jacono.. ; ) ..However, many many compliments on this beautiful painting..it pays tribute to a great Italian artist!
