Description

Another nice painting by this Italian master illustrator that I'm very happy to have added to my collection :)
The pompeiian red used as a background color is just striking in person!

In his fifty-year career, Carlo Jacono (1929-2000) painted thousands of covers for spy, mystery, sci-fi, pulp and crime books... And you can clearly see his mark by looking at this "historical" illustration as well.
