John Totleben's run on Swamp Thing, illustrating Alan Moore's scripts, remains the stuff of legend among Modern Age comics fans, and this issue's scenes of Judith transforming into a bird by the Brujeria after being lured in to do their bidding is considered one of the scariest moments from the series. The Brujeria storyline was borrowed for the highly acclaimed, but short-lived, Constantine TV series.
