Description

Dustin has long been a favorite of mine since his days with Dark Horse on Knights of the Old Republic. Any chance I get I will opt for a Dustin piece. Haven't seen him since 2013 when he did an amazing Rocketeer for me.

To see that he was coming to ECCC this year, it was an immediate yes on my list to get another piece from Dustin. Truly an example of what you get when you let an artist run wild with a piece. All I gave Dustin was reference.

Dustin Weaver absolutely killed it on this piece and as far as I'm concerned, seeing this, DC really needs to get their act in gear and do a Rockabilly Batman book.

So many things to say about this piece...the one that kicked off the most epic art collecting weekend in recent memory. Easily my favorite Rockabilly bats rendition out there and an absolutely phenomenal display of Dustin's prowess with composition and layout. The casual look of rebellion on bats' face, batgirl, cats, the look of the bikes, the motion of the piece....an absolutely unbelievable score! Congrats, Man...you deserve it!
