Magdalene from "Avengers" by Wendy Xu

I didn't know Wendy was going to be at MoCCA Fest but I decided to get a sketch from her because I've gotten art from her in the past. I went with a lesser known 90s era Avenger, Magdalene. She was part of a group of multiversal travelers called the Gatherers, led by the insane and manipulative Proctor. Proctor was obsessed with finding and killing every version of the Eternal called Sersi throughout the Multiverse, using her mental abilities to keep control of the Gatherers to accomplish his goals. Magdalene and the Swordsman eventually defected from the Gatherers when Proctor's motives were exposed and they allied with the Avengers.

Apparently she was meant to be seen as Marvel's version of Big Barda, and a friend of mine has a theory that she might be the child of Scarlet Witch and Wonder Man.
