Elsewhere of the Xavier Institute by Pharmas

Elsewhere, real name Jaime, was another Institute student from before M-Day. Her powers were teleportation-based, and for some reason she left behind a puff of smoke when she traveled like Nightcrawler does. She was one of several students Beast tried to counsel in an "X-Men Unlimited" short story. Jaime was very surly and hated being at the Institute. She had plans to leave and wanted to attend a writing school, and Beast tried to help her by convincing her to put in an application for a prestigious college because he thought she had potential as an author. Unfortunately, she didn't get in, and assumed Beast had gotten her hopes up for nothing to the point she was very passive aggressive towards him.
