Joe Harris: Gopher Gulch Indians

Just found out that Joe Harris, creator of the Trix Rabbit and director/designer of the Underdog characters passed away March 24th, 2017 at 89. Sharing this sketch from a convention appearance of the Gopher Gulch Indians. I actually preferred the side characters in Underdog over the main character, like the Go Go Gophers, Commander McBragg, Tennessee Tuxedo, etc. You'll be missed Joe, but your work will live as long as there are animation fans.
