Description
Joseph Parrish worked for the Chicago Tribune from 1936-70, but continued his popular "Nature Notes strip well in to the 1980's. This piece is from 1982, when Parrish was 77 years old. A flea market find for $50.

These are incredibly beautiful and always incredibly cheap! Parish did not value his art at all in spite of winnign the pulitzer prize- love how this later Trib stuff was all beautifully hand colored
