Description

There's something to like in all of the ABC comics line but for my money nothing matched "Tom Strong" when Alan Moore and Chris Sprouse were on the title. Every issue was engaging, exhilarating and just damn cool, a real tribute not just to the very best superhero comics and their sixty year history but to their pulp origins as well. Because of this, although barely five years old at the time of this illustration, "Tom Strong" read with a richness that other titles just didn't possess despite their decades of continued publication. Most comics being "words and pictures" it's nice to know that when you have a writer of Alan Moore's caliber there are artists like Chris Sprouse and Karl Story to close the deal.

This is absolutely one of my favorite pieces from Chris' entire run on the series to date..........fantastic pick up!
