Clawfang The Barbarian, created by Wallace "Wally" Wood and illustrated by his close friend Al Williamson mixed the genres of science-fiction and sword & sorcery/heroic fantasy with creatures and barbarians in a post-apocoliptic world. Originally published near-simaltaniously in Thrill-O-Rama #2 & Unearthly Spectaculars #2, both in 1966 — shortly before their friend Frank Frazetta did his first Conan the Barbarian painting. I'm thinking Wood likely provided an 8.5 x 11 rough layout to Al.

So many inking styles on one page, its more like a teachers guide on how to do everything right. Simply perfection which is always produced by Al in everything he did.
