Description

A very nice Superman page by the late and missed Mike Wieringo.

Superman disposes of Chemo in a spectacular and drastically efficient way.

The 4 horizontal panels make for a very cinematic action sequence.

Mike was an excellent storyteller, his clean animated style was enhanced by the clarity of his storytelling. You could immediately understand what was happening on the page without even reading the words.

I really liked what was happening in the Superman titles in the late 90s/early 2000s with great writing by the likes of Joe Casey and Kelly and great art also. They were really pushing Superman in different directions.
