Description

Along with the Vermin issue probably the best of the Mike Zeck run for art and story, now for people that own this book take a second look at as you read it and think of it as a Batman vs Joker book. It reads so closely as a Bat script and always wondered if it might have started that way as a possible tryout script by DeMatteis that was then adapted into a Cap book?

Beautiful page! Zeck & Beatty were on fire during this run, and this is a terrific example. Hard to beat this page as a great representation of their tenure. And as for the script, DeMatteis has had many stories over the years that evolved over time, and finally saw the light of day where they were supposed to. Very possible that this was one of them.

Awesome page! Tons going on in this one and just a great example of Zeck's storytelling, especially when it comes to action. Congrats!
