Description

Every story of speedsters whether in the 21st or 31st century draws its inspiration from the introduction of Barry Allen aka The Silver Age Flash. I wanted to include that classic cover in my Re-Legion gallery and since Greg LaRocque left his mark on both "The Legion" & "The Flash" series, he was the obvious choice for this piece. Russ Payne really added to Greg's work by adding the blurry motion picture reel to reel effect in the background.

I am posting pieces at a slightly quicker rate than usual but then this is a fast paced tale about speedsters. The posting pace is in its own way also a different kind of homage.

Great choice of cover to homage for this story! Greg knows how to draw speedsters and Legionnaires so well, he was the perfect choice for this!

No idea how I'd missed seeing this one, Greg is one of my favorite artists and this piece clearly shows why !! Awesome fresh new art by a legend to both FLASH and LEGION fans ! Congrats on another great addition to your fantastic collection !
