I like when pieces scratch a few different itches. I've wanted art by Paul Pope for a long time, but it isn't especially easy to find. Lone Wolf and Cub is probably my favorite comic series, and the movies were pretty faithful. So when Paul Pope did the package illustrations for the Criterion Collection blu-ray release, I was excited. This piece was sold as promotional art for the release. It appears to be the basis of the inside cover of the disc trays, digitally altered a bit probably. It helps that it's poster sized too!
