DescriptionBeing John Buscema one of my favorite artists I couldn't help but add a piece both pencilled and inked by him to my collection :)Many thanks to Francesco at tavoleoriginali.net for this great page, with Conan in action, an intense close-up of the Cimmerian in the last panel and a couple of gorgeous girls to boot! This is one of the last published works by the master, and his very last Conan story. As an unexpected bonus, on the back there's a delicate pencil sketch of an elegant couple from the XIX century (see additional image, sorry for the blurred pic). ..This is great! I love this page, a mix of framed and unframed panels also perfectly inked by a legend..celebrating with you is a must!

The clarity of the art is wonderful: no wasted trait, the pace is wonderfully fluid... Even late, this is still completely mastered. What a lesson!

I love the sketch on the back. I've purchased Buscema pages just for the backside sketches too, sometimes the unpublished stuff is better than what's on the front!
