I got this during or around 2006 from Terry Maltos, Al Rio's agent. I just found out at SDCC 2013 that this was made into the cover of the Exposure graphic novel cover. It was used in both the hardback and paperback versions. It also appears in the interior to illustrate some editorial commentary.

The book came out just recently and, I believe, includes the complete original comics, along with some art Al Rio did afterward, some behind the scenes stuff and a tribute to the late Al Rio. I'm tickled that they decided to use this piece for the cover.

Exposure has been revived as a web comic with a new artist, whom I met at SDCC.
