One of the proposals Sienkiewicz did when he was asked to design the poster for Eastwood's "Unforgiven", a movie that would easily make it into my top ten of all time. He presented six color painted comps (some of then can be seen here at CAF), along with a dozen of black and white, rougher sketches (this is one of them). Ultimately the producers decided to take the audience friendly route and use a photo, but some of the material Sienkiewicz came up with was astonishing.

Brutal. Me encanta. Diría que ojalá hubieran utilizado éste... pero la verdad es que me cuesta imaginar la peli sin el que acabaron usando al final. Se ha convertido en un icono.
