Description

The work is painted in acrylics on gessoed, thin plywood panel 8 x 10 inches. A pencil drawing was made on location directly onto the panel and the work was painted in studio while the memory of the scene was still fresh. I was usually back in the studio within an hour of making the drawing.

.....looking far across a hay field at a few cows grazing at the base of the blue hills.

The work is signed and dated on the back in pencil, and signed top right lightly in pencil.
