Description

(Warner Brothers / Amblin) Produced by Steven Spielberg, Animaniacs ran from 1993-1998, and had a couple spinoffs, including "Pinky and The Brain."

This 2-cel setup features all three of the Warner siblings (Yakko, Wakko, and Dot) and if you look very closely, also Pinky and The Brain. The background is entirely painted on the cel.

It is from the opening intro of the very first "Pinky and The Brain" segment, which aired September 14, 1993. The intro (you know the one..."They're Pinky and The Brain....Pinky and The Brain....one is a genius, the other insane...") was then used in 10 out of 18 segments throughout the run of Animaniacs. It's final use was on the last "Pinky and The Brain" segment which aired May 9, 1998.
