Il s'agit d'une splash page de The Savage Sword of Conan par Ernie Chan et extraite de l'issue N°122 de la série. en solo.

C'est marqué dessus, l'issue est la 122 et on a donc affaire à une planche assez tardive sans la mise en page d'un Buscema, Chaykin ou autre.

Pourtant Chan se débrouille plutôt pas mal avec une perspective qui a de la gueule. Le focus sur Tarzan le Cimérien a aussi un certain charme grâce à ces hachures qui changent de sens plus elles sont proches du perso principal. L'effet est réussi puisque l'oeil est attiré par le héros en premier malgré une planche plutôt chargée.

Amazing. Chan's work on Conan never ceases to amaze me. The pencil work is just amazing. This page has such depth. Very nice !
