Description

Sketch done at the Lakes con 2017. Stan's panel was a pleasure to attend and his signing afterwards was packed. By the time I got to his table my left arm had gone dead between holding the heavy books I wanted signed balanced on my forearm and not noticing that my rucksack had slipped off and hanging on top of them by the strap. I had just about managed to sort myself out enough to get the books signed and ask for a sketch but I was a bit flustered.

Stan did two panels and three signings on the Saturday. He was really generous with his time and I felt fortunate to have met him. He came across as such a nice person and completely genuine. Hope he makes it to the UK again.
