THE ACCUMULATOR!!! Original Character Creation and Trophy Room by Franco Aureliani Featured in AW YEAH COMICS #12

This piece was actually part of a Kickstarter campaign to support Art Baltazar & Frank Aureliani's wonderful line of new books published under the AW YEAH! COMICS banner. The Kickstarter support level allowed you to have a character of your own creation featured in one of the issues and that's what I chose to do.

I created "THE ACCUMULATOR!" a super-villain that every comic book and comic art collector can empathize with (on some level). He's a pack rat (and an actual rat) who not only can't let anything go but also went just a little bit overboard in his "collecting".

In this piece we have "THE ACCUMULATOR!" in his space based trophy room. His weapons of choice the "Grabby Grabber 2000" and "Shrinky Shrink Ray Gun" by his side and which he used to shrink and then store all the members of the Aw Yeah Comics Universe. Awesome Bear, Action Cat, Evil Cat, Adventure Bug, all made the cut. Added later through the magic of computers you'll find Stan Lee, Wrestlers Christopher Daniels & KAZARIAN, even Art & Franco themselves got caught (see color image as published). This wound up seeing print in Aw Yeah Comics #12.

So this is a creator owned trophy wall brought to life by Franco with his deft hands. Many thanks to Franco and the gang at Aw Yeah!. If you haven't checked out their comics you are missing something very special.
