Daredevil

This is a commission that took the better part of four months to complete. Evoking the character's Catholic roots and the spirit of Romita and Miller, I chose the idea of Matt Murdock aka Daredevil perched atop a gargoyle on a New York Cathedral. I'm very proud of this piece in both the storm effects and the stained glass window. I would like to credit the legendary Jim Lee in giving me the inspiration as to how to approach a storm with inks. Etched on 9 x 12" Bienfang and with mixed media, this is my best rendering of The Man Without Fear to date.
