DescriptionMark Brooks is a longtime Marvel Comics artist. From his social media posts, I learned Mark, his wife Lisa, and son Jack, visited the Ghibli Museum in Japan. My chance for a color portrait came at SDCC 2016 and Mark chose Howl the Wizard from Howl's Moving Castle. Mark and Lisa were guests at the San Francisco Comic Con in 2017. They offered two full color commissions before the con. During the con, I learned Mark would be doing head shots for a couple hours on Sunday afternoon. I specified one of Hayao Miyazaki's heroines this time and Mark chose to do Kiki. I think she turned out wonderfully.Social/Sharing |
