Description

Retta Scott holds the distinction of being the first female animator at Walt Disney studios to receive an on-screen credit (for Bambi). After Bambi, Scott contributed to the Disney features Fantasia, Dumbo, and Disney's version of The Wind in the Willows. She left Disney in 1946 but continued to freelance, illustrating Disney publications such as the Big Golden Book edition of Disney's Cinderella.
