DescriptionLike Ms Marvel, Ayla Ranzz has gone through a slew of names over the years. She started off as Lightning lad ( in disguise ), then Lightning Lass, Light Lass ( after Dream Girl changed her powers with Naltorian "super-science" without her permission. Later incarnations had her as Pulse, Spark or Gossamer . I thought this commission cover that John Watson did captures that cool and complicated hero history .Russ of course had the cover details. This is definitely one where I dig your cover homage more than the original. John did stellar work here!

It pulls well together because of the art, the very clever layout and the multi-identity hero history. To use the vernacular inspired by the cover....JACKPOT !
