The cover to this issue read "The Mighty Thor...Side-By-Side With ULIK!" I personally bought this issue off the newstands in 1976. I must have read the issue 100 times in the late 1970s. A page from my favorite comic title...illustrated by my favorite artist: John Buscema!

How have I not seen this page yet? It's absolutely wonderful and from such a great issue!!! IMO no one did Thor better than Big John!

Ah the scale! The angle and framing of the last panel really gives the reader the sense of the task ahead of Thor. Big John always knew how to create that page-turning sense of drama, and DeZuniga's inks are just fabulous.
