This is just a damn near perfect example of a Bill Mauldin cartoon.

Ron, Heritage had the description wrong on this piece. It's not actually a Korean War-era piece, but even better, an alternative version of a WWII piece from 1945. I actually prefer this piece to the published version. Whatever the case, Mauldin's WWII work with Willie and Joe is incredibly scarce. Congrats!

Great choice. Mauldin's war art feels understated yet is poignant and timeless.
