Description

This is Bruce McCorkindale's masterful recreation of Wally Wood's Spirit splash page to the August 3, 1952 issue of THE SPIRIT Sunday section.

Wood used duotone board, so Bruce used wash tones to replicate the look. 13" x 20" pen, ink and ink wash.

Is a nice receation,
but for any artist to grow
they have to develop their own material...

Bruce has created freelance work in the comics industry for a number of years.
