Description
Nightcrawler is my favorite X-Man. For the last few years, I have been waiting to acquire one from Paul Smith. When one popped up in a sale in Smitty's online store, I pounced on Mr. Wagner.

I absolutely love this Nightcrawler drawing, but I felt it would be enhanced with Kurt's signature sound effect -- BAMF! I contacted Smitty shortly after buying the piece and asked if he could add the sound effect.

Smitty replied back to me that same day and said that there were only two possibilities for what he called "BAMF! placement." One was at the top left and one was across the bottom of the picture (Smitty said placing it in the top right would throw the balance of the picture off). Putting the BAMF! inside the cloud would not work because Smitty used a Crayola crayon to create the smoke effect. I wanted a relatively subtle sound effect, so I chose the top left.

Paul Smith is the absolute best.

Very nice piece.  I think I would prefer one with him playing the Swashbuckler
