I am very excited to add this little illustration to my collection. To say that adding a Gorey piece had been a dream of mine would be a bit of an understatement. A few years ago I had looked into one and I found out how hard it was to find any outside of the collection of the estate. There are a number around but tightly held and rarely offered for sale. I like this one quite a bit. It features classic Gorey characters and some unpleasant strangeness. Whimsical macabre if you would which describes a lot of Gorey's art to me. This is a published piece from The Dream World of Dion McGregor and a copy of the book and record accompany this piece. I'm looking forward to having this piece framed and on my wall.
